Mothering is indeed a precious ministry!
In a time when the world and most of the "church" says a woman must leave her home and family to 'find her ministry gift', it is a blessing to know the gift lies in the heart of the home of a godly woman.
Where she is, God is with her.
And He is well pleased with her as she lovingly cares for those He has entrusted to her care!
love in jesus..TrishGentle Heart Homesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15248577364197699633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1222053555904320896.post-76546850701307925492011-03-22T11:29:42.919-04:002011-03-22T11:29:42.919-04:00I was just composing a post in my head this mornin...I was just composing a post in my head this morning about my own journey to seeing motherhood as my true calling. What a gift we have been given! Have a great day being a mom!Traceyhttp://lessdistractions.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1222053555904320896.post-24216466116442817612011-03-22T11:27:27.192-04:002011-03-22T11:27:27.192-04:00How I remember those Rosary gatherings! I was grateful for the group showing me that kids CAN learn to pray the rosary at a very early age. I had never heard such young children reciting the rosary and now I love hearing my daughter recite her 3 yr. old version of The Hail Mary. You shared the notion of mothering being a ministry with me years ago. I recall it often especially when the guilty feelings of "I should be doing more" start to crawl inside. I thank you, my friend, for allowing me the Grace to emerge myself, guilt free, into my most blessed ministry of mothering. I type this post with tears in my eyes wondering how many people will read this blog needing to feel the release to embrace our true calling. Thanks, Misty!Amy S. =)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1222053555904320896.post-51940289207416559342011-03-22T10:02:48.975-04:002011-03-22T10:02:48.975-04:00Misty,

She always directs us to her Son and although it seems I have spent alot of time under the table at dinner cleaning up spilt milk,my children are getting older and I wish I could be back under the table. I desire now to cherish every moment I have with them, every dinner we have together, because they are slowing moving on to write their own testimonies.
Blessings,
KateDaily Dirt Managerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17617377498128145049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1222053555904320896.post-14614208975553091612011-03-22T09:41:40.777-04:002011-03-22T09:41:40.777-04:00This is absolutely beautiful! I am crying tears of joy as I read this, because I too continue to struggle with what I "should" be doing as opposed to what I am already doing for the service of God. :) Thank you.
